I love traveling and exploring countries through their unique flavors. I then recreate those flavor memories in my baking. I use the finest ingredients-Madagascar Vanilla, Vietnamese cinnamon, Callebaut chocolate, premium liquors, and fresh citrus.
I have had the opportunity to take classes from some of the best cake artists and pastry chefs in the world. I cherish the time I spent with Marina Sousa, Colette Peters and Norm Davis. They were so generous and encouraging.
I have been baking since I was a little girl. I love the creative aspects where I can take the clients dreams and ideas and turn them into a beautiful cake. I love the scientific aspects with the precise measurements, temperature and timing to create the perfect chemistry that results in a tender moist cake, but the part I love the most is creating a delicious, unique "too pretty to cut" followed by "the best cake I ever tasted" creation!
